So whats first??

Hi to one who is reading this one!!
People say its always difficult to start something so here I am kicking the start and I am hoping that things will go smoothly after this and I will be posting regularly.
So the first post with which I am most comfortable Computer Games..
It all began when I was in first year and went to senior's room, bit terrified and bit tensed. He was playing Age of Empires, my first introduction to computer games besides from minesweeper and freecell. Oh no now I remember, I think I played Virtaul Cop 2 before AOE but it wasn't so fascinating and worth mentioning.
Anyways, as I was watching the first thing that struck me was the graphics...fundooo!! I never imagined gaming graphics can be so cool. You can notice even the finest details of a War elephant, castles and the horses wag their tail too. I stood there watching the game relentlessly not aware of anything around. Second thing the game offered was huge number of options..I don't know why I like the games with huge options but I do. So unlimited options. You select any game unit, a villager ..huge options..build,repair,kill him, flag him..etc..now you select build option.. again options build a mill, farm, lumber camp, mining camp..etc etc..but I kind of like it.

Now comes the AI..wonderful (as I was beginner ) but later found some basic mistakes. But anyways it was still far far superior than any other game. The game was also fulfilling in the sense that it offers you the sense of ownership, quest and superiority . A place where you can outplay your opponent with right strategy and there can be many right strategies. Then my quest began with AOE day and night of continuous play. Murmuring in the sleep that even my roomies got afraid(Mere ghode aa gaye!!).

The most fulling quest came when in my second year at the tech fest in my college WE(Yes me n my roomie Gaurav) defeated the same senior at whose room I first saw the game. He was the last year winner and this time he lost against juniors..and you know the quote bad news ..wildrfire..blah blah...It was a nerve wrecking game and I was at the second place even when last 20 seconds were left but it was all because of my real war time partner..he gave all his resources to me and I came in first place. By the time other opponents realised the game was over..and I would like to mention the time 2 O'clock in the night. After the game two people with big smile on the face walking across the football ground, laughing and discussing game..and the sense of quest completion came back to hostel. YOU ARE VICTORIOUS!!!
